Interiors & Coverings Ltd, previously named Howick Upholstery & Covers, is based at the tranquil Half Moon Bay Marina and have specialised in Marine Trimming since 1979.
In 2015, Greg Hills purchased the company and continued the long-standing tradition of excellent quality workmanship but injected a new vitality to the company with a fresh outlook. Greg has worked in the marine industry, both in NZ and in the Gold Coast of Australia. His attention to detail and precision workmanship has positioned him at the top of his field and he has created a team of like-minded professionals who support his ideals.
Our workshop team have many years of experience in upholstery and marine trimming - from residential furnishings, automotive upholstery. Our vast knowledge of all areas of upholstery & marine trimming makes us excellent teachers for our new recruits to the industry.
Our Design Engineer has a master’s degree in Product Design specialising in CAD modelling and 3D Digitizing. With him on-board we are offering world leading technology and digital patterning. Our creative newest recruit has a degree in fashion design and brings an eye for detail to the studio. INC is the first Marine Upholsterer in NZ to introduce a 3D digitizer which is revolutionising our field. This gives us the ability to map areas, import this to CAD and nest our patterns. Thereby ensuring the best yield of materials and makes us able to keep patterns for future use.
From Trailer boats to Super Yachts our team combines skill, creativity and knowledge positioning INC at the top of our field. The INC team thrive on challenges, deliver world class results and push the industry standards. Perfection has to do with the end product, but excellence has to do with the process.
